Richard is survived by his spouse, Tammy Eagleman-Hernandez of Eagle Butte, SD; son, Bobby Shay Anderson of Kadoka, SD; step-daughter, June Eagleman of Pierre, SD; brothers, Brandon Hernandez of Red Shirt Table, SD, Raymond Hernandez of Pine Ridge, SD, Scott Two Bulls and Jake Two Bulls both of Red Shirt Table, SD; sisters, Monica Hernandez of Pierre, SD, Tamaria Wilcox of Kyle, SD, Carla Hernandez of Granite Falls, MN, Cassandra Hamel of Rapid City, SD, Carol Hernandez and Camille Hernandez both of Chamberlain, SD, and Rihanna Vasquez of Rapid City, SD; his father and mother figure, Jerry and Caroline Two Bulls of Red Shirt Table, SD; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Hernandez, Sr. and Pauline Richards; brother, Jason Richards; grandparents, Earl Richards, Sr., Iva Iron Bear, Edith Poor Bear, and Raymond Hernandez; and nephew, Jonathan Little Thunder-Hernandez. Pallbearers will be Jason Jack, Harold Bettelyoun, Jason Richards, Storm Wilcox, Scott Two Bulls, Chance Winters, Mike Richards, Dustin Hernandez, Dustin Janis, and Josh Drown.
