Richard Raymond Oliver, affectionately known as Dick, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2019. He ended up being 5’4″ but was the biggest personality in the room. He loved his family, friends, farming and his life’s work of owning Intermountain Radiator.

Dick was the youngest of 8 children so he was spoiled rotten by his siblings who preceded him in death. There is a party going on somewhere right now! He had 3 wives but not at the same time.

He married Sandra Williams and they had twin sons, Mike and Mark Oliver. Later divorced, he married Korine Tanner. They had 6 kids, Darlene, Rick, Stan, Robin, Bret, and Todd.

When Korine passed, Dick married Marlene Snow. She had 2 sons from a previous marriage, Mark and Rock Snow. Marlene preceded Dick in death on July 21, 2017 after 42 years of marriage.

Dick loved to laugh and tease, BIG TIME! He enjoyed being outdoors farming, golfing, hunting, fishing, and hunting golf balls with his kids and grandkids and anyone else that would go with him. He ripped many shirts and shoes hunting those balls!

All of his grandkids loved and enjoyed him and the time they got to spend with him. Even listening to all the stories he told them that cannot be validated to this day. We still wonder if Johnny Green Teeth really existed?

Dick loved to work hard but always made it a fun, joyful learning experience. He instilled this value in his kids and they are grateful to him for it. Dick was outgoing and friendly to everyone he met.

His joyful personality and attitude was contagious. He is loved and missed by all! Preceded in death by Korine, Todd, Rick, Darlene and Marlene.

Survived by Rocky and Karen Snow, Mark Snow, Mike and Tami Oliver, Mark and Lori Oliver, Stan and Bobi Oliver, Robin and Rick Marshall, Bret and Kat Olliver. Survived also by an infinite, unknown amount of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dad’s only wish for when he died was for everyone to have fun memories!

No crying, sobbing or ing! “I had a great life, a great family, great friends, and great experiences! What more can you ask for?

” —Dick Oliver Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, at 11 a.m. at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11895 South 700 East, Draper, with viewings Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to the services. Interment, Draper City Cemetery.
