Richard’s Obituary Richard Rudolph Skipper, 83, of Kure Beach, died May 15, 2019, at his residence. He was born December 25, 1935, in Brunswick County, NC to the late Lawrence Richard Skipper and Mamie Mintz Skipper. Richard served in the US Air Force and retired from Hess Oil Company.

Survivors include his son, Gary Richard Skipper; daughter, Marla Skipper Zebraski; granddaughter, Brooke Nicole Zebraski; son-in-law, Michael George Zebraski; sister, Joyce Midgett; brothers Robert Lee Skipper and John Skipper and special nieces, Connie Midgett Barnhill and Vivian Midgett Powell. The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm, Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd. , Wilmington, NC, 28412.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Monday, May 20, 2019, at Andrews Valley Chapel with Gordon Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
