He was born on March 21, 1965 in Albuquerque, NM and moved to Moriarty, NM in 1987. Richard took much pride in his work in the industry of construction.

He enjoyed the outdoors in fishing, camping and hunting and was especially happy riding on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM; Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Robinson Sanchez of Moriarty, NM; son, Zeke Sanchez of Moriarty, NM and grandchildren, Suprease Villanueva, Adrian Sanchez, Destiny Sanchez and Mia Sanchez all of Moriarty, NM; daughter, Regina Robinson Sanchez and grandchildren, Emily Ridenour, Lexus Warr and Casper Sanchez Robinson all of Moriarty, NM.

Richard was also viewed as a dad by Jonathan Nunez of Phoenix, Arizona and Ryan Stanton of Moriarty, NM; Brothers, Eugene Sanchez and wife Jeannie of Lubbock, TX and Louie Padilla of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Luisa Onesalt of Oklahoma City, OK and niece, Victoria Chavez of Oklahoma City, OK; Aunt, Betty Baca and husband Edward Baca of Flagstaff, AZ and niece Christine Wacondo and partner James Curry of Albuquerque, NM. Per the families’ wishes, no services are scheduled.
