Obituary of Richard Hoffman, Sr. Randall- Richard B. Hoffman, Sr. 59, of Currytown Road, formerly of East Road, Port Leyden, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Albany Medical Center. Richard was born in Lowville, on September 10, 1959, a son of Kenneth and Pearl Kiser Hoffman. He grew up near Port Leyden, on the Hoffman homestead farm on the East Road, graduating from South Lewis High School, with the Class of 1978.

Thereafter for several years Mr. Hoffman was employed as a truck driver for several trucking companies in central New York. He relocated to the hamlet of Randall, (Montgomery County) in 2013. Mr. Hoffman attended the Randall Christian Church.

In addition to his significant other, Brenda Butler, Richard is survived by his children and blended family; two daughters, Sandi Christopher, Brandi Hoffman, both of Lowville; one son, Richard B. Jr., Castorland, Tara Marcellus, Mayfield, NY; grandchildren, Jade and Sapphire, Blaine and Hailey, Isaiah and Jason, Jr., Makenzie and Brentley and one great grandson, Ashton; one brother, Gary (Teresa) Hoffman, Port Leyden and one sister, Donna (Tom) LaQuay, Rome. He was predeceased by sisters, Lorraine McCanney, Jane Manning, Linda Best and Jean Hoffman and by one brother, James. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 4:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where calling hours will be from 2-4 P.M. on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Richard’s son, Richard to be used towards funeral costs.
