Obituary for Rickey Alan Midkiff Rickey Alan Midkiff, 63, a native of DeRidder, LA and resident of Sulphur passed from this life on November 1, 2018 in a local hospital. Rickey loved to hunt, fish, garden, and cook for his family. He was an amazing father, husband, brother, and grandfather.

Rickey was a selfless and giving person. He gave of himself freely to his family, friends. , and complete strangers.

He was a painter by trade and work in refineries and other chemical plants and loved his farm animals and his dogs Sassy and Jill. Mr. Midkiff is predeceased by his parents, Wilburn “Red” and Margarie Libick Midkiff, sister, Donna Midkiff Wolfe, and wife, Debra Alexandra. Rickey leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Brent Allen Midkiff of Carlyss and Eric Lee Midkiff and wife Staci of Sulphur, sister Dorothy Linscombe of Sulphur, brothers, Sherman Lee Midkiff and wife Gale of Sulphur, Donald Ray Midkiff and wife Anna of Carlyss, and Roger Dale Midkiff and Mitzie of Sulphur, his loving grandchildren: Bailey, Kade, Kayla, Leighton, Hadyn, Payton, and Brylee Midkiff, numerous nieces and nephews, and his loyal companions Sassy and Jill.
