Rita Mae Nuss Painter, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy R. Painter Sr.; her daughter, Deborah Ann Howarth; her parents and her siblings. She is the beloved mother of Roy R. Painter Jr. (Stephanie).

She is the devoted grandmother of Michael Paul Joseph Painter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Rita will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 beginning at 5:00 PM followed by a Memorial Funeral Mass at 7:00 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero, LA.
