Rita (nee Pelesky) Howard (1937-2018) Rita Rose Howard (nee Pelesky), 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook, PA. Rita was born in Shenandoah, PA to the late Andrew and Agnes Pelesky, She graduated in 1955 from J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah, PA. She resided and raised her family in Exton, PA and was communicant of SS Philip & James Catholic Church.

Rita worked as dedicated school bus driver in Exton, PA for Krapf’s for over 15 years. She was preceded in death in 2009 by her loving husband of 51 years, Albert “Stu” Howard Sr, a retired US Postal Employee. Rita is survived by her sister Lorraine Donahue of Millsboro, DE and her three children: her son Albert Jr and his wife Renee of Coatesville, PA; her son Daniel and his wife Deborah of Marietta, GA, her son David of Exton, PA, four grandchildren, Danielle and her husband Bryan, Justin, Taylor and Alexander.

She will be greatly missed by her family. Her spirit will live on in all of us. The family would like to extend their thanks and heartfelt appreciation for the loving care provided to Rita by the staff and nurses of Tel Hai, the Meadowbrook Facility and Compassus Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation from 8:30-10:30 A.M., Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Logan Funeral Home, 698 East Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA 19341. A Funeral Mass will be held following the Visitation at 11:00 A.M. at SS Philip and James Catholic Church in Exton, PA. Interment Phila.

Memorial Park. Flowers or memorial contributions can be made in Rita’s name to a charity of your choice.
