Ruby, SC Mr. Robert A. “Bobby” Sellers, age 78, entered into rest on Friday, February 8, 2019. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Monday, February 11, 2019 at Ruby Baptist Church by Pastor Ronald Thurman with burial to follow in the Ruby Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Monday prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church.

Mr. Sellers was born December 29, 1940 in Ruby, SC a son of the late Claude and Vera Melton Sellers. He was a retired employee of Springs Industries and following that worked with the Chesterfield County Convenience Center in Cheraw. Bobby was a member of Ruby Baptist Church and the S.C. Army National Guard.

He was a true sports enthusiast who enjoyed playing and watching all sports. In addition to his parents, Bobby was also preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne “Mike” Sellers. Survivors include his devoted wife of 55 years, Joyce S. Sellers of the home; son, Richard A. “Rick” (Kelly) Sellers of Ruby, SC; 2 grandchildren, Alyssa and Seth Sellers; sisters, Avanella S. (Johnny) Shaw, and Linda S. (James Charles) Thurman both of Ruby, SC; brothers-in-law, Charles (Mary) Smith of Chesterfield, SC, Jerry (Mary) Smith, and William Smith all of Ruby, SC; also nieces and nephews.
