OBITUARY Robert A. Kraft January 14, 1932 – December 1, 2018 Robert A. Kraft of Congers, NY, 86 years old passed away peacefully on December 1st, 2018. Robert was pre-deceased by his loving wife Patrica A. Kraft of many years. Robert was a life long resident of Congers, born January 14th,1932.

Robert has been a member of the Congers Fire Department for over 68 years. During Robert’s 68 years of service he was a Director of the Rockland County Volunteer Firefighters’ Association and Life member of the Rockland County Fire Chief’s Association. Robert also served as a fire commissioner for the Congers Fire District for over 60 years before retiring in 2015.

Services for Robert A. Kraft will be held at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral home at 113 Lake Road in Congers, Thursday December 6th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Friday December 7th at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Congers with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake.
