Obituary for Robert A. Stark Robert A. Stark, 80, of Bradenton, Fla and formerly of Sun City Center, Fla passed away April 23, 2018. He served in the United States Army as a Guided Missile Instructor and retired in 1991 from IBM Research and Development. He volunteered as an Archivist for the Maritime Museum in Kingston, NY and the Trolley Museum in Kingston, NY.

He also volunteered as a computer technician for the Sun City Center Emergency Squad. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph G. and Ruth (Foote) Starke, who owned and operated Country General Store in Coventryville, NY and by his infant brother, Joseph G. Stark, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sonja, a son and daughter in law, Edward Stark and his wife, Shaina, a grandson, Colin Stark and a granddaughter, Courtney Stark. Memorial service with military honors will be 2 pm Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Westminster Point Pleasant, 1553 4th Avenue West, Bradenton, Fla.

Private burial in Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sun City Center Emergency Squad, 720 Ray Watson Drive, Sun City Center, Fla 33573. Visit suncitycenterfuneralhome.com.
