Obituary for Robert Benjamin Grubbs Robert Benjamin Grubbs “Ben”, 69, passed away July 14, 2018. Ben, a native and long-time resident of Newnan, Georgia, currently resided in Centre, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Grubbs and Virginia Hill Grubbs and his baby son, Benny Grubbs.

A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Ben is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of nearly 51 years of marriage, Patricia Thompson Grubbs “Pat”. His children are Michael Scott Grubbs (Tina)and Lisa Grubbs McWilliams. His brothers are Jimmy Grubbs (Anna Marie), Frank Grubbs (Barbara)and Phil Grubbs (Olivia).

His sister is Jo Anne Bryant (Ronnie). Ben’s grandchildren are Tiffany McWilliams, Braxton Grubbs, and Ethan Grubbs. The step-grandchildren are Morgan Smith and Sean Smith.

There is a large extended family of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 17th at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, Newnan, GA 30263. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 PM, prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association and American Stroke Association (1-800-AHA-USA1). Online condolences may be expressed at www.
