Obituary for Alan Franklin Newman Alan Franklin Newman, age 38, of Newnan, died July 11, 2018 as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident. Alan was born in Newnan on March 12, 1980 and was one of two sons born to Travis Alan Newman and the late Edna Alice Stone Newman. He was employed as a reactor operator for the Henkel Company in LaGrange.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother Matthew Patrick Newman and his wife Katlyn. His aunts and uncles are Brenda and Doyle Jordan, Larry and Linda Newman, Brown and Marie Powell. Also surviving is his fiancé Myrtle Crane and little Ryder Crane.

There is a large family of cousins. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Ken Norton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 PM.
