Robert “Bob” Keith, 82, of Tallmadge passed away on June 3, 2018, at his home after a short battle with cancer. He was born October 9, 1935, in Starford, PA and graduated from Green Twp. High in PA.

Bob retired in 1994 after 34 yrs. service from Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Akron where he was Accounts Payable Manager. He served in the USMC from 1954-1958.

He was a member of the VFW 8487 Mogadore and American Legion in Kent. Bob always enjoyed sports whether he was playing (golf, softball, basketball) or watching his Steelers and Pirates on TV. He never missed a chance to play golf with his buddies in Ohio or North Carolina where he lived several times.

We are sure he has a tee time set right now in heaven with the Lord and looking for his eighth hole-in-one. The family would like to thank Dr. Brad Crombie, Dr. Greg Manson and Summa Hospice for their excellent care. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruth (Armstrong) Keith; brothers, Richard and John; his mother-in-law, Edith M. Knapp and brother-in-law, Bill Knapp.

Bob leaves a legacy behind to remember him including his loving wife, Marge; sons, R. Michael (Lori) of Clymer, PA. and Thomas (Pam) of Valencia, California. He also leaves his siblings, Nancy (Ed) Baker, Garee (Joyce) and JoAnn Keith; sister-in-laws, Judy and JoAnn Keith all of PA.

; grandchildren, Ryan (Brittney), Garett (Megan), Tyler, Ashley and Stephanie; great grandchild, Ryker; brothers and sister-in-laws in the Knapp family, Don (Raffie), Jerry (Nancy), Clem (Rose), Tom (Vicki), Mary (Karen), Dianna Knapp and Dolores (John) Fogt. Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday June 6th with a service to follow at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Military graveside service on Thursday, June 7th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, 2643 Waterloo Road, Mogadore, OH, 44260. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church & School or the American Cancer Society.
