Donna Jean (Mills) Rogers ascended peacefully to be with the Lord on July 24, 2018 with her husband and children by her side. She was born and raised in Youngstown where she graduated from South High School in 1956 and was a resident of Tallmadge since 1975. She and her husband established and own Home Appliance Parts in Akron.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Alice (Dressel) and Robert Mills, sisters Sally (Spike) Crawford and Betty (Joe) Baraducci, sister-in-law Gretchen (Robert) and brother-in-law Ron (Dottie). She is survived by and lives in the hearts of her loving husband John Rogers of 58 years, devoted children John and Linda (Rick) Gray and beloved grandchildren Sam and Carter Gray, along with her brother Robert (Connie) Mills and cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was also blessed to have numerous life-long friends that she truly cherished.

Donna was respected and loved by all she encountered and was known by all to be kind, generous and full of fun. Visitation will be 11:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle). A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday following visitation at the funeral home with Chaplin Doug Olsen officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery. In lieu of cut flowers, perennials are preferred and will be utilized to create memorial gardens in Donna’s name. Donations may be sent in care of Donovan Funeral Home to be distributed among Donna’s chosen charities.
