Obituary for Robert “Bobby” Cyril Laiche Robert “Bobby” Cyril Laiche peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Elaine Philip Laiche for 50 years. Son of the late George Laiche and Dez Normand Laiche.

Beloved father of Christine Laiche Stauder (Alan) and Philip Paul Laiche. Loving Grandfather of John Robert Stauder. Brother of Jeanne Laiche Habowski (Ed), Jerry Laiche (Beth), Jack Laiche (Debbie) and the late Roland Laiche and Roy Laiche.

Bobby is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Waggaman, LA for the past 45 years. He served his country while enlisted in the United States Navy.

For 36 years, he was a letter carrier for the USPS for Gretna/Terrytown. Bobby was a member of the Boones Battery Civil War Reenactment Group, Society for Creative Anachronism and New Orleans Poetry Forum. He was an avid Archer and Rifleman.

Besides enjoying his time with his family and friends, he thoroughly enjoyed his 22 years of retirement. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 6851 River Road, Waggaman, LA on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 11:30AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church on Friday at 1PM.

Interment will be in Our Lady of the Angels Mausoleum, River Road, Waggaman, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends may view and sign the online guestbook at www.
