Graveside funeral for Robert “Bobby” Helmintoller, 79, of Decatur will be Saturday, April 21, 2018, at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens, at 11:15 AM with Parkway Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Mr. Helmintoller, who died Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at his residence, was born, June 6, 1938, to Luther Robert Helmintoller and Georgia Violet Persinger Helmintoller.

He served in the Unites States Navy and was a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1340 for 57 years. He was preceded in death by his parents ,son – Keith Sullins, brother – William Lee Helmintoller, grand Child – Jeremy Sullins Survivors include: Wife – Judy Ferrell Helmintoller 2 daughters – Melissa (Mike) Green and Danielle McCormick (David Cottingham) 5 Grand Children – Brandon McCormick, John McCormick, Alyssa Gates, Robie Ballenger and Jessie Holmes 11 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mike Green, David Cottingham, Brandon McCormick, John McCormick, Leon Ferrell and Deven Green.
