Robert D. Duppstadt, 83, Johnstown, died March 6, 2019, at Richland Woods. Born May 10, 1935 in Windber, son of Dayton and Gladys (Legg) Duppstadt. Preceded in death by parents; and sister, Beverly Kormanik.

Survived by wife, former Beverly Swift, whom he married November 14, 1959; and children, Lynda (David Marsh), Boswell; Lori, and former husband, Brian Kovach; and Scott, both of Johnstown; grandchildren, TSgt. Adam Marsh, USAF, Amanda Frombach, Nicole Cramer, and Kara Kovach; and great grandchildren, Kai, Landen, and Julianna Marsh; and Bryce and Chase Frombach. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, and a graduate of Johnstown High School with the Class of 1956.

He was a retired chemist from Bethlehem Steel Corp. with 37 years of service. He served in the United States Army.

By request, there will be no public viewing; however, those who wish may attend a memorial service on Sunday at 1pm at Memorial Baptist Church, with Pastor Carl Irwin officiating. Private interment in Grandview Cemetery with military rite conducted by Chas. Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.

Arrangements are by John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.
