Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Randy Salazar officiating.

Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rosebud. Mr. De Leon was born September 27, 1940 in Rosebud to Robert and Catalina Garcia De Leon Sr He lived in Rosebud all of his life.

He graduated from Rosebud High School in 1959 and married Clara Garcia on January 31, 1966. He worked as a farmer and rancher. He was preceded in death by his wife, and sister Josephine De Leon.

He is survived by three daughters, Norma De Leon of Austin, Leticia Hinojosa and husband Leo of Robinson, and Pauline Gallagher and wife Heather of Temple, two brothers, Raymond De Leon of Round Rock, Ted De Leon Sr. of Waco, four sisters, Carmen Torres and Isabel Serrano both of Waco, and Mary Bravo and Margaret Salazar both of Rosebud. Two grandchildren, Alexis Sefton and husband Jacob and Rebecca Doskocil, and one great granddaughter, Logan Sefton. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
