Robert’s Obituary Robert “Bobby D” Dickison On May 1st, 2019, Robert “Bobby D” Dickison lost his battle after a long illness. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 23rd, 1960, he was the son of Robert and Connie Clarkson. He attended East Stroudsburg South high school and lived the majority of his life in Monroe County, PA, though he did spend some time in the south before returning to his hometown.

Bob had a zest for life and was quick to add humor to any situation with his sharp wit. Any room would suddenly be brightened by his tall frame, good looks and booming voice. He was an avid reader with a wide-ranging vocabulary that he loved to challenge others with.

He greatly enjoyed any time that he found himself with friends or family and brought laughter to all. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Robert “Bud” Clarkson and his brother Rick Dickison. He is survived by his wife, Jackie (Ladlee) Dickison and his mother, Connie Clarkson of Marshalls Creek.

Also surviving are his brothers, James Dickison of Marshalls Creek, Victor Dickison (Tammy Hess) of East Stroudsburg and Ken Dickison (Jennifer Nash) of Stroudsburg. He is also survived by his children, Scott and Christopher Dickison and two grandchildren. Cremation will be private and the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
