Bob is survied by his mother-in-law, Maria (Clifford) Adams; sister-in-law, Jeannine (Richard) Curns; sister-in-law, Ginny (Cliff) Adams; daughters, Tami (Glenn Stead) Kirian, Angela (Greg Young) Bour and Trisha (Ryan) Fair; grandchildren, Maria Aller, Alexis Kirian, Adam Aller, Abby Aller, Aubrey Bour, Ronald P. Preceeding him death were his mother and father; beloved wife, Nita; father-in-law, Clifford P. Adams; brothers-in-law Clifford F. Adams and Richard Curns; and great-grandchildren Braxton and My’Niyah. Bob and Nita were married in Tiffin, August 12, 1977, and lived a life full of joy, attributed to the numerous friends they shared. Many of their memories were made at the bowling alley, golf courses (where Bob and Nita met) and Eagles and Moose clubs.

Bob and Nita traveled along the east coast for many golf trips with Jerry and Barb Kuhn throughout the years. They also enjoyed dancing as part of the Boot Scooters, watching the Cleveland Indians, and hosting many family gatherings at their home. Bob loved Nita dearly, and would always melt our hearts with his romantic holiday cards and sneaking her sweet kisses.

Bob was employed at Corbin Corporation and retired from Smith’s Frosted Foods. He enjoyed playing golf and poker with “the boys” and playing with his grandkids. Bob had a passion for working in his yard and maintaining his koi pond.

He enjoyed many afternoons watching the Golf Channel in his recliner with one of his cats, Tigger or Suzie sitting on his lap. “Grandpa”, as the family knew him as, will always be remembered as the stubborn old man, with a heart of gold. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 215 Charlotte St. in Tiffin.

The family will be hosting an open house for friends and extended family from 2-5:00 P.M. In honor of his wife, donations may be made to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation or donor’s choice.
