Interment will follow with military honors at Sunland Memorial Park. A letter from Bob to Diane… Our wedding day, August 24th, was everything one could hope for. A beautiful wedding and a reception afterwards that was filled with so much happiness.

The food and service at our reception was super. It was obvious from the sounds of laughter and joy that resounded thru out the room that everyone had a wonderful time. We had a mixed crowd, Catholics, Mormons and Protestants, from 4 years old Robert (my grandchild), to 99 years old Earl, our Mormon friend from Sun City.

A total of 90 people helped us celebrate. Afterwards Di and I left for Payson, AZ. to enjoy our new status as husband and wife and to take in the cool weather and scenery.

We visited “Zane Gray’s” cabin, that is what’s left of it as it burned down in a forest fire started by lightning. We headed back Sunday and stopped at “Fountain Hills” on the way home to see the world’s highest water fountain and then to Youngtown. Di and I are two very happy, grateful people to have one another and look forward to a happy life together.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to find as nice a person for a wife. I have someone very special to share and plan our future together. What a nice feeling, I am indeed one lucky guy.
