Robert (Bob) O�Connor, 76, died peacefully at home on February 12, 2019. Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years Eileen (nee Smith) , his 2 daughters Karen D�Elia, and her husband: Ted of Trumbull, CT, Kimberly Minero and her husband: Rob of Summit, NJ, 1 son Keith and his wife Renee of Chatham, NJ, his 6 grandchildren (Kylie, Alyssa, Ava Minero, Tyler D�Elia, Liam & Noah O�Connor), 3 sisters, 2 brothers, along with many loving nieces , nephews and extended family. Bob is predeceased by his 2 brothers Donald & Joseph.

Bob was a loving husband, father, sibling, grandfather and friend to all. Bob worked at Citibank for 35 years. After his retirement he enjoyed volunteering at Meals on Wheels, traveling to Aruba, cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events and rooting for the Mets.

He especially loved spending time with his family and friends in his pool and at the Jersey shore. Bob embraced a life that was dedicated to helping others deal with their addiction and supported them through their recovery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Christoper�s Inn Inc. (an Addiction, Treatment and Recovery center), 21 Franciscan Way, P.O. Box 303 Garrison, NY 10524.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. 28 Eltingville Blvd. Staten island, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
