Robert George Donaldson, 91 of Fenelton passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Sugar Creek Rest. Born November 30, 1926 in Butler, PA, he was the son of the late William A. Donaldson and Mary Alice Broadbent Donaldson. George retired after serving 22 years in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer.

He served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam on six different ships. After his retirement from the U.S. Navy, he worked at Service Star. George enjoyed tending to his yard.

Surviving are his loving friends, Roxann and Jim Stickney of Fenelton, their children, James (Michelina) Stickney of Butler and Kimberly Stickney of Arlington, VA, their grandchildren, Jack and Lina Stickney of Butler, and close family friend, Rick Himes of Cabot. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert and Stanley King. In accordance with George’s wishes, services will be private.

Interment will be held at Greenlawn Burial Estates. Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg is entrusted with the arrangements.
