Robert “Bob” Dobs, age 83, of Wautoma, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 at his home. He was born April 21, 1935 in Milwaukee, the son of Harold and Esther (Feller) Dobs.

He married Geraldine “Geri” Hull on Sept. 8, 1956 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on July 20, 2017.

Bob was a 1954 graduate of Bay View School. He served his country in the Army from 1958 until 1960. He was assigned to the 2nd Armored Division “Hell on Wheels” and the 3rd Armored Division in Germany.

He was employed by the Milwaukee Police Dept. for 32 years until his retirement. He and his late wife moved to Lake Alpine in 1989.

Bob worked at the Wautoma Copps IGA Store for nine years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his children, Lisa (Barry) Lien, Jefferson, Michael (Christine) Dobs, Fayetteville, NC, Timothy (Amy) Dobs, Granbury, TX, and Christopher (Damingo) Dobs, Milwaukee; grandchildren, Meagan (Joshua) Lecus, Kristen Sessoms, Michael Dobs Jr., Tiara Dobs, Tegan Dobs; great grandchildren, Brett, Michael, Jaxon, Connor, and Hunter.

; one brother, LeRoy (Susan) Dobs, Greenfield. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held on Friday, Dec.

21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Deacon Paul Grimm officiating. Inurnment with military honors will be at Calvary Cemetery in Wautoma. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
