Obituary for Robert J. Kinns Waterford, NY Robert J. Kinns “Kinnsey” 57 died November 16, 2018. Born in Cohoes he was son of Shirley Ballard and the late Robert J. Kinns. He had lived most of his life in Waterford and was employed as an electrician for the New York State Canal Corporation retiring in 2015.

He was an avid New York Met’s and Jet’s fan and also enjoyed listening to 70’s rock music and Elvis songs. He was a member of the Waterford Sons of The American Legion and the Son’s of VFW. Survivors include his father and mother Richard and Shirley Martel.

His longtime companion Joanne O’Melia. He was father of Robert LaBoy (Eric), TJ O’Melia (Caitlin). Brother of Harold Martel (Maryann) and Rhonda Gironda (John).

Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 from St. Mary’s Church Waterford. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7 at the Marra Funeral Home.
