Morgan Jr., 75 of Monongahela, (Forward Twp. ) died Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Born April 3, 1943 in Clairton, he was the son of the late Robert J. Sr. and Anna G. (Cochran) Morgan.

A 1962 graduate of Monongahela High School, Bob was a retired (Consol Energy) coal miner and Methodist by faith. Surviving are two daughters Barbara and Dan Rosensteel of Marienville, PA and Becky and William Baisden of Toney, AL; four step-sons, Frederick and wife Shannon Darrow of Apalachin, NY; Richard Darrow Windsor, NY, Charles Darrow of Little Meadows, PA; Danny Darrow of Harbinger, NC and Terry Darrow of Elizabeth City, NC; a step-daughter Luann and husband David O’Neal of Gatlinburg, Tenn;, three sisters Linda and Tom Garbart of Hobart, IN; Jeanne and Skip Pieczarka of Finleyville and Carol Kreger of Osewgo, IL; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his wife Anna (Fuller) Morgan who died September 3, 2013, a step-son Timothy Darrow who died as an infant and a sister Patricia Hartman.

Friends will be received at the Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com from 10-12:30pm Monday where services will begin at 12:30 with the Rev. Joshua Green officiating. At the family’s request interment will be private and held in Mon-Valley Memorial Park, Donora.

At the families request memorial donations can be made to either the Washington County Humane Society 1527 Route 136, Eighty Four, PA 15330 or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
