Obituary for Robert James Dunmire Sr. Robert James Dunmire, Sr., 81, of Waxhaw, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015. Mr. Dunmire was born October 29, 1934 in Dayton, PA. He was the son of the late Frank and Genevieve Lewis.

He is survived by Edith Ann, his wife of 62 years. He is also survived by sons Robert, Jr., Ronald, Timothy, Steven, and James and by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Dunmire’s life will be held January 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Monroe, NC.

Donations in his memory may be made to Levine and Dickson Hospice Center at Southminster; 8919 Park Rd. , Suite 1000, Charlotte, NC 28210. Simply Cremations of Charlotte is serving the family of Mr. Dunmire.
