Netz Jr., age 76, of Benoit, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Court Manor Nursing Home in Ashland. He was born on February 21, 1943 in Milwaukee, the son of Robert and Mildred (Weise) Netz Sr. Bob graduated from Shorewood High School in Milwaukee and later served in the National Guard. He worked as a mail carrier in Milwaukee before moving to the Ashland area, where he continued to work as a mail carrier.

Bob farmed in the Benoit area for many years. He is survived by 2 sons, Donald (Gail) Netz – Mason and Timothy (Melissa) Netz – Benoit, 7 grandchildren, Tristin, Alexandra, Marcus, Clayton, Frederick, Curtis and Josephine, 2 great-grandchildren, Hanna and Dominic, a brother, Louie (Dawn) Netz – Grafton, a sister, Polly of Ashland, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
