Robert Lee Paupst passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was 81. Mr. Paupst of West Norriton was a retired security guard at the Graterford Prison, Sacred Heart, Montgomery, Suburban and Valley Forge hospitals.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was born in Philadelphia on February 3, 1937 and was the son of the late Richard and Cecile (Downer) Paupst. Robert enjoyed movies and genealogy.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Dorothy G. (McPherson) Daughters Jennifers (Jack) Haas, Leslie (Jeffrey) Thomas, Robert (Kerri) Paupst, and James Paupst. Grandchildren Frank, Leslie, Christopher, Amber, Andrew, Joelle, Madison, Lisa, Elizabeth. Great grandchildren Theresa, Dean, Oscar and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by a sister Cecile, brother Richard and William, granddaughter Jenna and grandson Matthew. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Thursday, January 24 at 11 AM from the Volpe Funeral Home 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road E. Norriton. Pastor Rodney Brailsford, pastor of the Haws Avenue United Methodist church will be officiating.

Burial Riverside Cemetery. Family visitation will be on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers family request memorial contributions to the Haws Avenue United Methodist Church Norristown.
