Obituary for Robert Lee Ryan Sr. Robert Lee Ryan, Sr., 69, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Ryan was a truck driver for Local 455 and Local 456. Mr. Ryan is a former member of the VFW Post #5444 in Amenia, NY and a member of the American Legion Post #1 in Albany, NY.

He was also a former member of the Amenia Fish and Game. His favorite pastime was deer hunting with friends and his son, Joe. Born on July 1, 1949 he was the son of the late Lee and Marie H. (Camburn) Ryan.

Mr. Ryan proudly served in the US Army. In Amenia, NY he married Ann Lown, survives at home. In addition to his wife, Mr. Ryan is survived by his two sons, Joseph A. AuClaire of Dover Plains and Robert Lee Ryan, Jr. and his wife, Jessica, of Dover Plains and a daughter, Wendy Belas and her husband, Edward, of Wassaic, NY.
