Robert H. “Bob” Lominac, age 84, of Clearwater Lane in Spruce Pine, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 27, 2019 at the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. Born on August 16, 1934 in Keystone, WV, he was the son of the late Harmon and Mary Martha Hall Lominac. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son; Dennis Lominac and a stepson; Darrel Renfro.

Bob was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church. He was a well-known musician in this area, he played at Young’s Mountain Music, the Altapass Orchard and many others. As a youth he played at the Carolina Barn Dance.

He loved to play golf and dance. Bob was in the Air Force during the Korean War. He loved people and nobody was a stranger to him.

He loved his friends, his family and his church family Left to cherish his memories are his wife of sixteen years; Mary Jo Pendley Lominac of the home; his son, Scott Lominac and wife, Karen of Lake Charles, LA; his stepdaughter; Donna Renfro and husband Charles of Bakersville, his brothers; Curtis, Al and Dennis Lominac, his sisters; Sandy and Linda, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two step grandchildren. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service for Robert “Bob” Lominac on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church with Brandon Pitman officiating. A time to support the family, share memories and receive friends will be on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church.

Interment will be on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Pendley Cemetery. Words of comfort may be e-mailed to the family by going to our website; www. webbfh.com.
