OBITUARY Robert Loran Bailey October 6, 1942 – January 12, 2019 Robert Loran Bailey Robert Loran Bailey, 76, of Fairview Heights, born October 6, 1942 in East St. Louis, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Belleville. Robert was an operator engineer with Local 520 in Granite City. He enjoyed working with his model train collection.

He loved spending time outdoors boating, fishing, and being with friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Harry C. and Violet (nee Shultz) Bailey. Those left to cherish his memory including his loving wife of 55 years, Georgina (nee Matheis) Bailey; daughter, Belinda (Chris) Demick; granddaughter, Lauren Heffron; sister, Mary Lou (Kenneth) Schieler; special cousin, Scott Shultz; friend, Eddie Buhs; as well as many friends, cousins, and cousins.
