ROBERT MICHAEL BOND, age 63, of Pataskala, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 7:36 a.m. at Licking County Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 28, 1955 in Franklin County to James and JoAnn Funk Bond. He was a 1973 graduate of Northland High School in Columbus, Ohio.

Robert was currently employed as a truck driver for UPS Freight and was set to retire this year. He enjoyed bowling, cars, motorcycles, collecting M&M memorabilia, and being with his family. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Robert Michael Bond Jr. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Catherine Sue Wimer Bond, whom he married on December 28, 1986; children, David Morris, Cathy (K.C.) Shell, and Amber (Jason) Hammond; grandchildren, Johnathon Morris, Emily Hammond, Kaylie Hammond, and Leah Hammond; and mother-in-law, Winifred Rose Gregory.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.
