passed peacefully on Monday night with family by his side. Bob was a loving father, doting grandfather and caring neighbor. He is predeceased by his parents Lydia and Waldemar Moehring; brother Jim and grandson Donovan.

He is survived by his brother John/Bud; his three daughters Anita Dantzig, Kathy (Scott) Creason, and Marie (John) Abbondondolo; his grandchildren Katarina, Teddy, Kevin, Tyler, Cody, Kim, Lauren and Sara; his former wife Shirley. He loved the outdoors more than anything. Bob was a dog lover, bee keeper, wine drinker, mushroom hunter, bird watcher and pilot.

He will forever be remembered as a kind soul who would welcome anyone to his table for coffee and a hot meal. Whether it was gathering friends and family for a pig roast or welcoming neighbors to use his property for hunting, he was friendly to all. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, at 2pm, at the Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, 308 Main St, Johnson City.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Clinton Square, Suite 305, Syracuse, NY 13202.
