Obituary for Robert Ray Bourne Robert ‘Bob’ Ray Bourne Visitation for Bob Bourne of El Reno will be held from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Monday in the Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. In the First Baptist Church. Rev.

Charlie Blount, pastor will officiate. Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Robert ‘Bob’ Bourne was born on June 3, 1932 in Purcell, Oklahoma. He passed away on December 12, 2018 in the Grace Living Center in El Reno, OK. Bob was a graduate of El Reno High School and received his Physicians Assistant Degree from OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK.

His class was the first one of the Physician’s Assistant classes and he graduated at the top of his class even though he was 42 years old. Robert Ray Bourne married Betty Kreager on June 28, 1953 in El Reno, OK. Bob was a loving, caring, and devoted husband, daddy, and papaw.

He had worked as a Physicians Assistant in Farmington, New Mexico and Had worked as a Lab Tech and X-Ray Tech for Park View Hospital and the Canadian Valley Clinic. He was a prankster who loved making people laugh. Bob was preceded in death by his parents: Richard Bourne & Orene (Carr) Bourne and a sister: Mary Haynes.

Survivors include: His wife of 65 years: Betty (Kreager) Bourne of the home. Daughter: Sharon K. Douglas & husband Mike of Tulsa, OK. Granddaughter: Sara Covey & husband Jeff of Tulsa, OK.

2 – Great Granddaughters: Abigail & Amelia Covey both of Tulsa, OK. Other relatives and many dear friends. The family would like to thank all the employees and staff at Grace Living Center, For all they did for Bob.
