Obituary for Robert Sidney Parvin FORT WORTH – Robert “Bob” Parvin, 89, left for his heavenly home Tuesday, May 29, 2018 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. Bob was born Sept.

30, 1928 in Fort Worth, Texas to Marguerite Stapp Parvin and Sidney Bert Parvin. Bob enjoyed golf and travel. He was devoted to God and was a member of the church of Christ.

He was happiest surrounded by his family, his beloved friends, and the church. Bob served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He married Lana Vineta Boyd April 23, 1955.

Bob and Nita had two children, Terry and Terrisa. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Marguerite and Sidney; loving wife, Nita; grandson, Joshua Parvin; and son-in-law, Jerry Shelton. He is survived by his son, Terry Parvin and wife, Carla; daughter, Terrisa Shelton; granddaughter, Sarah Parvin Baird and husband, Broc; grandsons, Grant and Trent Shelton; great-granddaughters, Delilah and Josie Baird; and nieces and nephews.
