OBITUARY Robert Snyder MD October 25, 1926 – September 12, 2018 Robert Snyder was born in Salmon, Idaho October 25, 1926 to Warren and Beulah Snyder. Robert passed after a long illness on September 12, 2018. Robert studied at the University of Colorado, after which he became a general practice physician.

Robert married his beloved wife Helen Blair on January 12, 2001. He had a passion for professional scrabble with his friends Mike and Taylor. Robert had a passion for playing games with his wife and family members and never minced words when it came to wanting to win!

It was through his playful spirit that win, lose or draw, the experience made everyone feel joy and happiness at the end of the game. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, D.J, William and Jake. He is survived by his wife, Helen, daughters, Teresa and Marsha, son Kevin, 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Sunday September 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Martin Mortuary 550 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501. Viewing will be held between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM prior to the service. A Graveside service will follow the funeral service at the New Elmwood Cemetery, 17 ¼ Road, Fruita, Colorado 81521.
