Mrs. Robert T. Baity Thomson- Mr. Robert T. Baity, 66, widower of Mrs. Kathy Baity, entered into rest on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at his residence. There will be private services held at a later date Mr. Baity was a native of Statesville, N.C., but had lived in Thomson for several years. He was a retired Sergeant 1st Class in the U.S. Army with 20 years of service.

Survivors include his daughter, Laura Ferguson (Patrick), Martinez; his Grandson, Corey Rosamond, Augusta; his great-granddaughter, Lily Rosamond, Augusta. Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
