Robert Verdell Wooden, Jr was born on January 10, 1942 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Robert Verdell, Sr. and Anna Elizabeth (Miller) Wooden. He passed away on July 10, 2018 at his home in Chandler. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army reserves before returning home and becoming a teacher for many years.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his wife; survivors include his son, Robert Jason Wooden along with other family and friends. A memorial service is currently pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
