Obituary for Robert Wheaton ROBERT WHEATON, 84 of Ogallala, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Indian Hills Healthcare Community in Ogallala. Bob was born September 25, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to Albert and Thomasine (Pollard) Wheaton. Bob met Elaine Robinson in September of 1968 and they were married on December 9, 1968 in Orlando, Florida.

The couple resided in Orlando, Florida for two years before moving to Denver, Colorado and then later to North Platte, Nebraska before coming to Ogallala, to make their home in 1985. Bob had many jobs over his lifetime, but the one he enjoyed the most was his most recent job of delivering prescriptions for U-Save Pharmacy. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Elaine; sister Audrey (William) Reese; brothers, Albert T. (Dorothy) and Paul (Eleanor) Wheaton.

Survivors include a son and two daughters; his grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends. A memorial has been established in Bob’s memory for later designation. Condolences can be shared online at prairiehillsfuneralhome.com, where the service will be streamed live for those unable to attend.

Services will be Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 10:00 am at Prairie Hills Funeral Home in Ogallala with Pastor Eric Wait officiating. Inurnment will be in the North Platte Cemetery. The memorial book will be available for signatures Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
