Cremation with inurnment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. Robert was born July 23, 1948 in Avon Township, Oakland County, Michigan, the youngest of six children, to George Edwin and Gladys (Sells) Brooks.

He was a U. S. Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Robert worked as a computer systems analyst. Robert is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Musgrove, Humble, TX and Melissa Blakesly, Flower Mound, TX; a brother, Donald L. Brooks, Clarkson, MI, and three grandchildren.
