Obituary for Roberta E. Leonard Roberta E. Leonard Age 78 of Lower Alloway Creek, NJ and formerly of Center Square, NJ, peacefully went home with the Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2018. She was born to the late Harvey C. & Mildred R. (nee Holdcraft) Leonard. Roberta was one of five children raised on a large dairy farm in Thorofare, NJ.

She was known to everyone as Bobbie. She was a graduate of Paulsboro High School and Pierce Business School. She retired from BF Goodrich Pedricktown, NJ Plant after 26 years of service in purchasing.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Bobbie enjoyed flower & vegetable gardening, horses, china painting and crocheting. Roberta is survived by her son, Gerald “Jerry” L. Philipp (Marcia), grandson, Gerald E. Philipp, sister Shirley Ohlsen, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey C. & Mildred R. (nee Holdcraft) Leonard, brother, Carl Leonard, and sisters Clara Royce & Betty Freeman. Bobbie will surely be missed by her long time childhood friend, Mary Dean Shank A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 30, at Ashcraft Funeral Homes, 47 State St., Penns Grove, NJ from 10-11 am followed by a service in celebration of Bobbie’s Life at 11 am. Burial will be private.
