Obituary for Roberta Ruth Weitl It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Weitl. Roberta passed away on April 25, 2018 after a long battle with dementia. Roberta had a passion for flowers and her church.

She was employed at the flower market for many years and did the alter flowers at her church, St. Timothy Lutheran Church. If anyone who knew Roberta she always loved her cats. Many times, she would have up to seven cats and that didn’t include the feral strays she would feed, one Siamese in particular that lived to 27 years.

Roberta was born and raised in San Diego, California. She is preceded in death by her three sons, Michael, Patrick and Donald Randolph and her grammar school friend, Elle. Roberta is survived by her four grandchildren; Justin, Scott, Nicole and Donnie Randolph; three daughters-in-law; Lorna Randolph, Debi Trulson, and Maryann Randolph; and two step-grandchildren; Amy and Adam and her great grandchildren.

A very special thank you to Deborah Ferguson and her puppy, Jazzey, who was Roberta’s in-home caregiver in her final years. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00pm at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 52 Soledad Drive, Monterey, CA 93940.
