Robert K. White, 95, of Mahwah, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2019. Robert was born on October 13, 1923 in Chicago, IL to Wilmer and Grace White. He was a pilot flying B-24’s during WWII.

He attended Knox College in Galesburg, IL along with attending the University of Michigan. He had a background in Sales and Marketing Management. Through the years he worked at Swift & Co., Allied Chemical, McGraw Hill and Technometrics.

His passions were golf, bridge and reading. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alene White (nee: Rooney) and his son Patrick George White. He is survived by four children: Kimberly Sweetland, Robert White Jr, Mark White, and Shauna Scales.

Robert was blessed by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He will never be far from our thoughts and forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-8 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 01/11/2019 at 10 AM at Church of the Presentation in USR, NJ. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert K. White may be made to Ascend Hospice, 1600 St. Georges Ave, Suite 312, Rahway, NJ 07065.
