Obituary of Robert Preston Best, Sr. Robert Preston Best, Sr., 65, of Colmesneil passed away March 27, 2019. Born June 11, 1953 in Woodville, Tx to the late Vernon and Joyce Carl Best, he lived in Colmesneil for many years. He was pipeline inspector.

Robert was a great husband, father and grandfather who loved his family unconditionally. He liked to fish but his passion was to travel. He and his wife, Sandra’s favorite place to travel was to Florida.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Tonia Linscomb. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Reynolds Best; daughters, Irene Alegre and husband, Lyle of Colmesneil and Casey Sturrock and husband, Billy Jack of Chester; son, Robert Best, Jr. and wife, Brittany of Woodville; sisters, Penny Graham and Mary Winters both of Colmesneil; brother, Richard Best of Colmesneil; fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 10 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Lyle Alegre officiating.
