Robin “Rob” William Cavinee, 62, of Zanesville, died 11:26 AM, Monday, March 11, 2019, at his home following a brief battle with leukemia. He was born September 14, 1956, in Lancaster, the son of the late Charles L. & Carol L. (Noble) Cavinee. Rob was recently employed with Neff Paving.

He enjoyed traveling, camping, nature and cooking. A true cowboy in his youth, Rob actually delivered the Osceola Sun in Kissimmee, Florida on his beloved Pony, Pepper. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He will be remembered for his humor, thoughtfulness and generosity as well as his love of a good cigarette and a cold beer. Rob is survived by two sisters: J. Lynn (Robert) Bouterse & Kathleen Westenhouser; two brothers: Charles (Becky) Cavinee, II & Phillip (Cora) Cavinee; many nieces and nephews; a special friend: Tim Wallace and the love of his life: Mary Ann Nash. In addition to his parents, Rob was preceded in death by one brother: Joseph Cavinee; a nephew: Brian Bouterse and a brother-in-law: Kenneth Westenhouser.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care, The James Cancer Hospital and Genesis Cancer Care Center for the care given to Rob during his illness. The family encourages all to donate blood and register for organ and tissue donation.
