Obituary of Rochelle Bliss Rochelle F. (Brunner) Bliss, 80, of Stowe, PA, went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2019, at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville. Born in Pottstown, PA, on January 31, 1938, Rochelle was a daughter of the late Russell and Mildred (Rhoads) Brunner. Rochelle worked as a nurse for over 25 years at Parkhouse Nursing.

She was also a lifetime member of The Salvation Army in Pottstown. In her younger years, she participated in the band, but more recently was an adult Sunday school teacher, a songster leader, sang many solos, and participated in the Home League. She was also active with the community meals and the kettle bells.

She is survived by one daughter, Karen Ciaciak, wife of Robert, Stowe, PA; one son, Edward Bliss, Jr., Spring City, PA; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and her siblings, David Brunner, husband of Rebecca, Camp Hill, PA; Richard Brunner, husband of William, Canadensis, PA; Douglass Brunner, Philadelphia, PA; Kathleen Minner, wife of James, Boyertown, PA; and Carole Spaar, wife of Bruce, Boyertown, PA. She is predeceased by her son, Alan Bliss; one granddaughter, Lena Bliss; and one sister, Virginia Adamski. The family would like to thank the staff at Seasons Hospice for the care Rochelle received the last few days.

A viewing will take place on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at The Salvation Army, 137 King St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place after the service at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rochelle’s memory to The Salvation Army.
