Mr. Roger Allen Wright, age 72, of Westfield, NC passed away on Saturday January 12, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was bon to Cleave Hal Wright and Frances Nanny Martin Wright. Mr. Wright was a loving husband, daddy, and papa who truly loved his family, and will be greatly missed.

He loved fishing, camping, woodworking, and splitting wood. He leaves cherished memories with his wife; Sheila Wright, daughters; Rogene Eads, Susan (Jeff) Medley, and Carrie (Brad) Nichols, brothers; Joe (Tina)Wright, Hal Wright, six grandchildren; Jesse Eads, Taylor Eads (Dakota Young), Connor, Kinston, and Cohen Nichols, three step-grandchildren; Kenadie Ayers, Presley and Averie Hiatt. He was preceded in death by his parents; Cleave Hal Wright and Frances Nanny Martin Wright, brother; Johnny Wright.

A funeral service will be conducted at Brown Mountain Baptist Church on Thursday January 17, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Eddie Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Brown Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 16, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cox Needham Funeral Home.
