We lost Lois Jessup Tilley on January 4, 2019 and she will be missed dearly. She enjoyed life and was a hard worker. She was born 1925 on a farm in Surry County to Robert L. and Drucilla Cook Jessup.

She was a Farmer, retired from Armtex Inc. and retired Stokes County Election Officer. Lois was the loving mother to seven children. She is preceded in death by her two children Debra Tilley Spillman and Michael G Tilley, her siblings Ruth Jessup (Romney), Boyd Jessup (Mary) and Rachel Jessup.

She is survived by her brother Wayne Jessup (Frances), Nell J Baker (Bill), Gail J Durham (Frank) one brother in-law Frank D. Tilley. Her surviving children Larry & Sharon Tilley, Jerry & Bonnie Tilley, Cindy & Jeff Moody, Tim & Betty Tilley, and Renee & Edward Robertson. She has many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Service to be at Cox Funeral Home in Pilot Mtn, NC 27041 on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow service at Brims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
